Members of the Rotary Club of Bangor will be collecting food and monetary donations to support area food banks on Thursday May 28th from 3-7pm.
Members of the Rotary Club of Bangor will be collecting food and monetary donations to support the Salvation Army, the Ecumenical Food Pantry, and the Brewer Food Pantry. Drop off locations will be at Chapin Park and Fairmont Park in Bangor and the Brewer Auditorium. Drop off times will be from 3-7pm on Thursday, May 28th. There will be a caravan of cars driven by Rotarians through Bangor and Brewer neighborhoods to spread goodwill and thank everyone for their support.
Food insecurity has been an ongoing challenge for many in the Bangor region and the numbers of those in need has grown in this most recent crisis. The impact of Covid-19 on our community's physical and financial health has been severe resulting in more demand than ever before for the services and support provided by our area food pantries. Please join us in helping our neighbors in need by bringing your donations of food or financial support to one of our three drop off locations on Thursday, May 28th.
